18º Troféus Central Comics: Nominations / Nomeações

The 18th Central Comics Trophies takes place late this year, but gathers in its 15 categories around thirty works published in 2020, including the fanzine Outras Bandas, which I coordinate for the Tágide collective and that published #2 (Feb.) and #3 (Nov.) that year, now nominees for the Best Independent Publication award.
Also in this category is the anthology Virar a Página/Turn the Page (Bicho Carpinteiro), coordinated by André Morgado, where I collaborated with the short comic “Quim and Manecas kill off Covid-19!”, written by Marco Fraga Silva, that is also elected in the Best Short Comic category. This is my 10th nomination at TCC, after having won in the categories of Best Portuguese Artist (2006), Best Independent Publication (2010) and Best Short Comic (2018), in addition to being editor/publisher of three other comics awarded as Best Short Comics (in 2007, 2010 and 2020).

Congratulations my Tágide's colleagues for the effort that led to this 2nd nomination by Outras Bandas, and to all the other nominees, and also many thanks to the readers that voted for us!

The final voting is ongoing until the Dec. 18th (Sat.), on CentralComics portal. It does not require registration and guarantees voting in absolute secrecy.

O 18º Troféus Central Comics realiza-se tarde este ano, mas agrega nas 15 categorias uma trintena de obras publicadas em 2020, entre as quais consta o fanzine Outras Bandas, que coordeno para o colectivo Tágide e que naquele ano editou os #2 (Fev.) e #3 (Nov.), candidatos ao prémio Melhor Publicação Independente.
Também nessa categoria está a antologia Virar a Página (Bicho Carpinteiro), coordenada por André Morgado, onde colaborei com a BD “Quim e Manecas dão cabo do Covid-19!”, escrita por Marco Fraga Silva, que foi eleita na categoria Melhor Obra Curta. Esta é a minha 10ª nomeação nos TCC, após ter sido distinguido nas categorias de Melhor Desenho Nacional (2006), Melhor Publicação Independente (2010) e Melhor Obra Curta (2018), para além de ser editor doutras três BDs premiadas como Melhor Obra Curta (em 2007, 2010 e 2020).
