Sketch 22 / Esboço 22 - IPCVI

Estes esboços são de Setembro de 2010, aquando fui contactado pelo amigo autor J.Mascarenhas, que me perguntou se estaria disposto a fazer um pro bono para uma iniciativa social da IPCVI; nomeadamente, um ‘logo para usar na divulgação no festival AmadoraBD. Porém, faltou disponibilidade; tentei mas, infelizmente, não tive tempo de acabá-lo, pelo que optaram por outra imagem. Fiquei aborrecido porque a causa em questão merecia-o, mas a verdade é que a ilustração perdeu-se no meio dos compromissos…

Nos esboços, foquei-me numa pose super-heróica icónica, com laivos positivos e animados, algo que ficasse bem num crachá.

 

These sketches are from September 2010, when I got a call by fellow artist J.Mascarenhas, who asked if I was willing to do a pro bono for an IPCVI’s social initiative; namely, a ‘logo design to use at their presentation in the AmadoraBD comics festival. Turns out, I hadn’t the availability; I tried but, regretfully, didn’t find time to finish this up, so they worked out another image. I was bummed because their cause surely deserved it, but truth of the matter is that the illustration got lost amidst the workload…

While sketching, I focused on an iconic superhero pose, with a positive and cheerful twist, something that would look good in a pin.
