9º Coimbra BD – Sketches / Esboços

As a matter of curiosity, I'm sharing today the sketches I made for the official poster of the 9th CoimbraBD, to gauge the organization's preferences. In all the compositions, the idea was to involve Infante Portugal (created by José de Matos-Cruz) with the fan audience and maintain the convent as a background setting.

A título de curiosidade, partilho hoje os esboços que fiz para o poster oficial do 9º CoimbraBD, para sondar a preferência da organização. Em todas as composições a ideia foi envolver o Infante Portugal (criado por José de Matos-Cruz) com o público de fãs e manter o convento como cenário de fundo.

XXIII Troféus Central Comics

The Central Comics Trophies kicked off this year's Portuguese public comics awards, which remains the 2nd oldest award in the industry in the country and the only one that determines finalists and winners through public voting. The XXIII TCC holds the Preliminary Round between April 18-30 and Final Vote between May 1-15.

7º Barreiro IlustraBD

The Barreiro IlustraBD event, at the Augusto Cabrita Municipal Auditorium, opens next weekend and runs until July 31. The opening days, as usual, feature a book fair, autograph sessions, discussion panels, workshops and exhibitions. Admission, as always, is free.
On Sunday, April 12, at 4pm, I will be participating in the presentation of inVISÍVEIS, with Hugo Pinto, Osvaldo Medina and Susana Resende, plus Paulo Pessoa, representing CerciOeiras. See you there!

O evento Barreiro IlustraBD, no Auditório Municipal Augusto Cabrita, inaugura no próximo fim de semana e ocorre até 31 de Julho. Os dias de abertura, como é habito, concentram feira do livro, sessão de autógrafos, colóquios, oficinas e exposições. A entrada, como sempre, é grátis.
