CoBrA: Operação Goa – Exclusive Print / Print Exclusivo

Publisher Ala dos Livros is famous for pampering readers with excellent editions of impeccable materials and finishes, and also for presenting them with extra collectible contents. When we released the graphic novel CoBrA: Operação Goa two months ago, still within the ephemerid date of the real world events that motivated the work, the invasion of Portuguese Goa in 1961, we decided to include in the books purchased exclusively on the publisher's website 60 units of this limited cardboard print, in memory of the sixty years since that historic moment.

The illustration features the protagonist, entrepreneur and secret agent Jorge Jardim, in a tropical setting, with Angediva island in the distance. The image was painted by Susana Resende, who also co-created the books’ dust jacket illustration.

Ao publicarmos há dois meses o álbum CoBrA: Operação Goa, ainda dentro da data de efeméride dos acontecimentos reais que motivaram a obra, a invasão de Goa portuguesa em 1961, decidimos incluir nos álbuns comprados exclusivamente no site da editora 60 unidades deste print limitado em cartão, em memória dos sessenta anos volvidos desde aquele momento histórico.

A ilustração figura o protagonista, o empresário e agente secreto Jorge Jardim, num cenário tropical, com a Ilha de Angediva ao largo. A imagem foi colorida pela Susana Resende, que também co-assinou a ilustração da sobrecapa do álbum.
