From the new collectible deck of cards OverPower – World of Legends, here’s a bunch of sketches done in 2024 for some of the character’s I illustrated. You can see a few of the end results here.

OverPower – World of Legends [BMG]

Available for a few months now, BMG & Associates has released a new collectible card game from the popular OverPower brand, titled World of Legends. This Starter Deck introduces characters from literature and beyond to the OverPower universe and proved a huge success from the start, being fully funded via Kickstarter within the first ten minutes of the campaign.
OverPower – World of Legends puts the player in control by allowing them to choose their favorite heroes and villains and build their deck based on those character«s special abilities. When battling opponents in competitions, the player can win by directly eliminating the opponent, by completing his mission or by preventing the opponent from completing theirs. OverPower has already retaken the RPG industry by storm and, more recently, has been expanded with other Booster Boxes featuring new characters from comic book publishers such as SkyBound and Top Cow.

This was my first experience contributing to the RPG world, having illustrated about ten cards. Additionally, some of the images I created have been used in companion items. See some of the illustrations here.

Disponível há alguns meses, a empresa BMG & Associates lançou o novo jogo de cartas coleccionáveis da popular marca OverPower, intitulado World of Legends. Este Starter Deck introduz no universo OverPower personagens da literatura e não só, e revelou-se um enorme sucesso desde o início, sendo totalmente financiado via Kickstarter nos primeiros dez minutos da campanha.
OverPower – World of Legends coloca o jogador no controlo ao permitir-lhe escolher os seus heróis e vilões favoritos e construir o seu baralho com base nas habilidades especiais destes. Ao combater com adversários em competição, o jogador pode vencer ao eliminar o adversário directamente, ao completar a sua missão ou impedindo o oponente de completar a sua. OverPower – World of Legends já reconquistou a indústria de RPG e, mais recentemente, foi expandido com outros Booster Boxes figurando novas personagens de editoras de comics como SkyBound ou Top Cow.

Esta foi a minha primeira experiência a contribuir para o mundo de RPG, tendo ilustrado cerca de dez cartas e, adicionalmente, certas imagens que criei foram utilizadas em artigos complementares. Ver aqui algumas das ilustrações.

The Boy in the Bot: Robot

This simple drawing is a background pin-up featured in 2024’s The Boy in the Bot vol1’s prologue, written by Tom Marvelli, that I drew and inked. It’s child protagonist Billy’s favorite robot toy and it was conceptualized by artist Rafael Oliveira, who drew most of the 1st book.

Este desenho simples é um pin-up de fundo que figura no prólogo de The Boy in the Bot vol1, de 2024, escrito por Tom Marvelli, e que eu desenhei e finalizei. É o brinquedo robot favorito da criança protagonista, Billy, e foi conceptualizado pelo artista Rafael Loureiro, que desenhou a maioria do 1º livro.
