Although
the summer feels like a break in the schedule, we’re already a
month into the 2nd half of the year. The 1st semester was filled with
awesome moments! From enroling in Prado’s Art & Design talent
agency, being featured in BD2, showcased in the BD Montijo
exhibition, to the release of my first major european graphic novel,
CoBrA: Op. Goa, which came with great reviews and a batery of interviews, to
having two nominations in Portuguese comics awards and exhibits in
two major portuguese festivals, plus one in France, not to mention
the release of two new anthologies and breaking a record of
participations in an ArtCred initiative...
It’s
been pretty busy year already, even though it feels like 90% of the
time I haven’t left the studio – and there’s still so much yet
to share until December!

Embora
o verão traga uma pausa na programação, já estamos um mês no 2º
semestre do ano. O 1º semestre foi repleto de momentos incríveis!
Desde integrar a agência de talentos Prado’s Art & Design, ser
integrado no BD2, participar na exposição BD Montijo, e lançar o
meu primeiro álbum de BD comercial, CoBrA: Op. Goa, que veio com excelentes críticas e imensas
entrevistas, até ter duas nomeações em prémios de banda desenhada
e exposições em dois grandes festivais nacionais, mais uma em
França, já para não falar do lançamento de duas novas antologias
e de bater um recorde de participações em iniciativa ArtCred…
Tem
sido um ano bastante preenchido até agora, embora pareça que 90% do
tempo não saí do estúdio – e há ainda muito por partilhar até
Dezembro!
