XX Troféus Central Comics

The Central Comics Trophies were born 22 years ago and, with a few lapses along the way, reached their 20th edition, continuing to be the most important merit award in the Portuguese comics market, as it is the public and professionals in the field themselves who determine which were the best editions and authors published in Portugal last year.
The TCC opened the pre-elimination between the June 16th and 23rd, and will indicate the finalists in 26/6th, thus starting the final voting between June 26th and July 10th.

This year, I am a candidate for Best National Publication and Best National Art, with CoBrA: Operation Goa (with colleague Marco Calhorda in Best National Script); for Best Independent Publication, with the anthologies Aurora Boreal in Shared Reflections and Outras Bandas, in which I was author/editor; and Best Short Comics, with “Aurora Boreal e A Dança dos Espectros” (in Aurora Boreal), and “Terça-Feira,” with Travis and Liliana Johnson, plus Susana Resende (in Outras Bandas #8).

Os Troféus Central Comics nasceram há 22 anos e, com alguns lapsos pelo caminho, atingem a 20ª edição, continuando a ser o mais importante prémio de mérito do mercado de banda desenhada portuguesa, por ser o próprio público e profissionais da área a determinar quais as melhores obras e autores publicados em Portugal no ano transacto.
O TCC abriu a pré-eliminatória entre 16 e 23 de Junho, e vai indicar os finalistas no dia 26/6, dando arranque à votação final entre 26 de Junho e 10 de Julho.

Este ano, sou candidato a Melhor Publicação Nacional e Melhor Desenho Nacional, com CoBrA: Operação Goa (com o colega Marco Calhorda em Melhor Argumento Nacional); a Melhor Publicação Independente, com as antologias Aurora Boreal em Reflexos Partilhados e Outras Bandas, nas quais fui autor/editor; e ainda a Melhor Obra Curta, com “Aurora Boreal e A Dança dos Espectros” (in Aurora Boreal), e “Terça-Feira,” com Travis e Liliana Johnson, mais Susana Resende (in Outras Bandas #8).
