Quando,
nos primeiros anos do milénio, comecei a expandir a minha presença
na comunidade portuguesa de BD também à investigação, reportagem
e crítica, um dos títulos onde mais colaborei foi o JuveBêDê,
o periódico da Juvemédia, que trimestralmente
publica uma revista que destaca lançamentos e notícias do sector
nacional e europeu, frequentemente também reportando eventos,
mostras ou entrevistando autores, e ainda, ocasionalmente, revelando
novos artistas, através de banda desenhadas curtas.
O
JuveBêDê
está de parabéns, pois celebra em breve o 20º aniversário,
consolidando-se como a revista portuguesa sobre banda desenhada com maior
longevidade!
Para
comemorar a data, a associação inaugurará a colectiva JuveBêDê: 20 Anos em Imagens,
na livraria Ler Devagar, na Lx Factory (Lisboa), de 25
Abril a 6 Maio.
A mostra selecciona vinte trabalhos criados expressamente para a
revista, reunindo, no processo, vários autores portugueses e
internacionais.
Pela
minha parte, assinalo a reprodução da ilustração de capa, alusiva
à banda desenhada “Deus dos Tubos,” ali editada em duas partes,
em 2005, cujo argumento e esboço da narrativa assinei.
When,
in the first years of the 2000s, I began to expand my presence in the
Portuguese comics community, by researching, reporting and doing
reviews, one of the titles where I collaborated most was JuveBêDê,
a quarterly magazine by Juvemedia, which covers comics related news
and publications, both Portuguese and european, and frequently also
spotlights events, exhibits, intreviews authors, and even,
occasionally, showcases new artists, through short comics stories.
JuveBêDê
will soon celebrate its 20th anniversary,
further consolidating itself as the Portuguese comics magazine with
the greatest longevity!
To
commemorate the occasion, the editors will hold JuveBêDê: 20 Years in Images,
a collective exhibition at Ler Devagar book store, in LX Factory,
from 25
April to 6 May.
The show selects twenty works created expressly for the magazine,
gathering, in the process, various national and international
authors.
For
my part, I point out the reproduction of a cover illustration, from
2005, regarding the short comic “God of the Tubes,” published
there in two parts, for which I wrote the scritp and did pages
breakdowns.
